Where it All Began
Where it All Began
My passion for design started 8 years ago in GCSE Design and Technology, where I built one of my prized possessions: my bike. From understanding bike geometry and materials to designing the graphics and braising the frame, I was hooked on every detail. That bike has been with me through university and my placement year, always reminding me why I love design— what people really cherish is the experiences they have with their favourite products.

My Path to UX
My Path to UX
I completed a 5-year Integrated Master’s in Product Design and Manufacture with placement year at the University of Nottingham, graduating with a 2:1. During this time, I gained a deep understanding of the iterative problem-solving process and worked on several exciting projects, including my major project—the DoughJO pasta maker—and final year collaborative project designing a Gaming Experience.
These experiences taught me how to navigate the entire product development lifecycle, from research and concept creation to evaluation and the technical complexities needed to develop commercially viable solutions.
During my studies, I discovered my passion for UX through modules on VR, cognitive ergonomics, and human-computer systems. These modules made me realize that a product’s success hinges on the user experience. For example, I love my bike because it fits perfectly, the gear changes are smooth, and I can feel every bump in the road. It's the same with UX: the best designs go unnoticed because they just work.
Now, I’m pursuing a professional diploma in UX Design at the UX Institute, applying these problem-solving skills to my current project—redesigning an airline’s booking experience. I’m excited to keep growing and learning on my journey to becoming a successful UX designer.

I’m sociable, active, and always up for a challenge. I like to go to the gym and have a lifelong passion for football—I’ve been playing since I was young and still play weekly. I go snowboarding in Bulgaria with my family every year, and golf with my Dad is a tradition. When I need to unwind, you’ll find me playing my guitar or DJing for fun. Music and sports keep me balanced, and I love the creativity and energy they bring to my life, both personally and professionally.
